1. In clerks why did the charecter of Randal have all the best lines?

2. The original script did not include the shutters being stuck closed, why was that added?

kevin didn't realize until getting into it how difficult it was to direct and act at the same time. jeff anderson made a perfect randal tho.

and they couldn't afford the big lights that make it appear to be day, couldn't film inside during the day because it was/is a real quick stop and had to keep doing business.
