it's the video card
not so much the video card but now i'm reminded by that mexican guy that he passworded the cmos and disabled the video card

so i'm talking to him and i say ok, i just pop the cmos battery, so it'll reset things, then i'll fix the video card

ok, so he's giving me an ordered list of how he thinks i should do things before and after the popping of the battery, and he realizes something

this motherboard didn't want to accept the 30 gig hard drive in the first place, and it took him a couple hours of fucking with cmos settings in order for it to recognize the hd
so if i reset it then it'll probably not see the hard drive again

so i glare at the stupid giving me a headache resolution and wait to let him deal with it
