sounds good. I have never tried to make anything like that before....but I buy it at trader joes sometimes. I wish I were a true sushi eater.

it's just as good to form it into a hand roll, the rice might stay better that way. There is a resturant on Capitol called Sakurabana that has yummy hand rolls on Wed's for 75 cents. They usually cost $1.50.

I have a rice cooker to make the sushi rice, and even the roller here.

Then the best part, I have a bunch of little microwavable saki with the cup that comes with them and hello kitty marshmallow pies for desert.

I want sushi damnit!!!!!!! whaaaaaaaaaa, whine whine, I want sushi.

Too bad you live in CA cause I have all the other stuff to go with sushi, yummy.

I have only seen them at Uwajimaya in Seattle. Uwajimaya is the largest asian grocery store on the west coast. It is huge and so much fun to shop in. The saki is, sake gekkeikan and I went to their website and the individual microwave sake wasn't even on their website. (at least the american site). It says on the bottle of saki that it was bottled in Kyoto Japan.

One day when I am rich I will have to make sure you get a couple of these. They are really fun and cute. I love it when people come over and I ask if they want saki, and I just pop one in the microwave for about a minute and then bring it out to them. I love little microwave saki. They are like the fast food of saki or something, hehe
