i've got a bit of a thing i wrote on laptop and pictures of apt that'll i'll put together into an html page when laptop is connected again
i slept on the floor in my new room last night, wasn't horribly comfortable but was nice
no phone yet

i woke up to my doorbell ringing and it was qt telling me that kal had called her and the transmission on the car totally broke, so i got dressed and came over here, called my father and gave him kal's cel phone number

what i understand happened is kal was on the freeway to work and the transmission just locked up, everything locked up and the car began to come to a screeching halt, i understand he managed to get partway onto an offramp before it came to a complete stop, cop came along and she helped him push it further and i guess part of the transmision fell off from the pushing

kal talked to the place we got the car and they were pretty pissed (not at us) i guess the guy that i took the car to fix the first time and who i was led to believe was reliable has a recent history of repairs breaking right after warrantee runs out. so i think our dealer is going after the repair guy and if they can't get anything from him i think they're going to fix the car for us. if they get nothing from repair guy then we still have to pay for repairs but it will be added on top of our payments, yay and ick at the same time

kal sounds really fucking depressed, i'm worried. things'll work out. they always do eventually
but it's wearing on him a lot

i really dunno if i'm happy or upset
things are slowly getting better but they're really resisting
