and i'm done answering emails about it tonight, i might a little before i finally sleep, but i'm *gasp* tired of looking at naked pictures tonight, heh

anyone know of a site where you can type in things and it changes it to a barcode?

Depends on what you want to encode. Here's an ISBN server, and here's a UPC code server.

Finally, there's the giant nearly every kind of code server, which those crazy CueCat hackers came up with.

hmm, that's still not quite what i was looking for

i just was certain i remembered a page where you could type in TEXT and it would generate a scannable barcode
reading those pages (what i understood) i'm not sure that's possible now

What are you going to read the barcode with? The only thing I know that reads URL barcodes is the CueCat, so maybe a quick spin through Digital Convergence may be in order.

i want to walk through wal-mart or target, pass the barcode under one of the random check your price scanners and have it do it's beep then the screen say: Chaos $6.66

or reach over the counter at a store and stick it on the POS scanner
