oh my god! pictures!

hoveringsombrerotoo many pictures, should probably be a POTM but there's lots of words too, so it'll just end up in the potm archive later on
anyway i was very tired after leslie weekend so didn't get much of an account written of it, but she did, it was lots of fun to see her, and hopefully we didn't bore her too much :)
i woke up pretty early Saturday and came downstairs to wash the clothes i wanted to wear, and i believe i made a journal entry about that, then i went back upstairs to get a little more sleep or wake up kal (if by sleep or wake up kal i mean sex), then we talked and i told him i wanted to go to the flea market, i wanted a couch as some of you know
so we went and woke up the kids, hehe, up until that point i wasn't entirely convinced that there was a leslie in spanky's bottom bunk, but the pile of blankets topped with hair rolled over and became a leslie
so off we went..
the flea market was the most full i think i'd ever seen, i suppose it was cause of easter weekend, i had $3 in my pocket and i was wearing my forest camo pants and wonderwoman t-shirt .. there was the knife guy from tv there displaying the kind of kitchen knives kal likes, so he got sucked into the presentation, so spanky and leslie and i wandered over to a nearby table (or did i wander and they follow? *shrug*) and old lady came up to spanky and i and asked us how we got our hair those colors then told us how much she liked it, and told us a small story about how when she was a girl her hair was bright orange once, but it was by accident :)
then i found these two things for $1 each, two pictures of the first thing, i assume it's some sort of drinking game? the cute little wooden cups are shot size, and the thing they're in is made to hang on a wall it seems, the second is a little framed copy(?) of an old billiard parlor advert:
then as the boys were looking at toys i saw a batz maru dressed in camo, i grabbed it and handed it to kal, he asked the guy how much ($1) and i didn't remember if he or i handed him the dollar, then as we walked away kal discovered that it had a zipper on it's ass and there were 2 quarters inside, after he finally gave me the batz maru i attached him to my belt loop cause he matched my pants, i later also discovered that his hood comes down and his normal spiky head can show:
ah yes i remember now, kal paid for the batz that's why it took him a bit to give him to me because he was insisting it was his, next SCORE, cute little black boxy old camera, it says Vagabond "120" and it claims to have a flash and a timer, there is no film door so i assumed the front would unscrew and you get at the film place that way, while after i unscrewed the screws it would only come off partway like there was something else inside attached to the front, so i didn't force it and screwed the screws back on, it was $2 and i only had $1 left so kal handed me a dollar and i got it! (obviously)
i'm probably all out of order now, because i can't remember if this camera was bought before or after the last one up there, oh well, i just asked kal and he can't remember how much it cost, i'm pretty sure it was under $5, it came in a nasty brown carrying case that looks like a yucky old purse, it seems to be a montgomery ward house brand "low light power zoom 753 XL" it also claims to have telephoto and wide angle options, it's got decent zoom and focus, and there is still film in it, "Kodak type G Ektachrome 160 movie film" and it had a handle that comes down or folds up and a tripod hole, it also takes ..... 4 AAA batteries! and it looks in perfect condition, so i'm curious to see what happens when i put batteries in it
and last from the flea market, is a sake set, yes the sake bottle is full, comes with 3 sake cups and a carafe or warmer of sorts, it was $10, i picked it up and looked across the table to kal and said "gimmie ten bucks" he said why, i held up the box, he made a face, and i said "it's a full unopened bottle!" he sighed and handed me a twenty, i went walking over to the vendor and happily handed him the money, he gave me back 2 fives and took the sake box to but it in a bag for me, then he stopped, stared at me for a sec and then said "are you a cop?" i stared at him blankly for a moment and then burst out laughing, and said "if i am it's a pretty good disguise" he smirked, gestured at my hair and said "you never know it could just be kool-aid" and i said "nope it's about as permanent as it gets" then he handed me my bag and i walked off giggling, didn't' realize till later that i hadn't actually said "no i'm not a cop" heh
then a couple pictures of a couple things that kal brought me home, the nightmare before christmas coffin tin, and Spooky The Thing What Squeaks
also kal got a big pretty knife with skulls on it (not sure where that is) and i got a tiny elephant god statue (upstairs by bed), and we also got a big picture thing with the "native american 10 commandments" and kal got a giant ninja turtle and another thing, and i'm not sure all what spanky got
toys and stuff
leslie didn't get anything, but she was looking at some rings, and she carried the icky brown purse looking camera case for me =D
then we went to chilli's, and then through some stores so i think i got some other things but i can't remember now (that's why i'm supposed to post right away)
then to dom's and spanky and leslie and i went to see josie and the pussycats, cute movie
then back home to get shorts (for hot tub) and we decided we were hungry, so we went to lyons and i got some video of angry people sitting near us and then hot tub
and tired and home
leslie followed me back to dom's the next morning (i'd left kal there) and we said goodbye to her and she went home, and kal and i went to lyons (it was easter so the places we wanted to eat were closed) and then we went and bought tickets for joe dirt, and wandered around outside the theatre for a bit before it started, that was nice =) then movie, it was dumb but entertaining
then home, stuff, kal off to work
now it's Wednesday :P
