Middle of the night nail post.
Oct. 13th, 2011 12:32 amToday I did my nails quickly before we went out to a Super Fancy cajun restaurant. I tried NEW THINGS, I had alligator tail, frog legs, and catfeesh! Alligator is ODD, I think I liked it but it was completely different to anything I've ever had before, which was really fun. Also frog is pretty great.
Anyway I used polish that is not only a bit old, but I don't think that it's really meant for full nail coverage. So it didn't quite dry. Ignore the paint on my skin in all pictures in this entry, didn't bother to clean up firstthat's what she said.

After dinner while sitting on couch watching silly things, I started picking at it because the not totally drying was bothering me, and I realised I would have liked it better alternating fingers instead of entirely opposite hands.
So I went and removed it properly and did it just in tips, which has dried nice and proper, and I like it much better. Even though the waitress at the restaurant complimented me on the first draft.

Right hand:

For anyone who's curious I did the bigger dots on the first draft with the pointy tip of a nail file dipped in the polish. the second set needed smaller dots so I used a toothpick.
