Haunted by gnome!
Jun. 15th, 2011 09:37 pmRecently I've been having a lot of trouble with LJ and chrome. I was on the windows side of my partition for a while and it also has troubles over there. I haven't tried it in FF or Opera yet, so I don't know if it's just LJ.
Anyway, it's doing one funny glitch on the linux side, if I open my flist and there's a recent post by Darcie, or if I've opened a post of hers then gone back to fl, it makes her gnome icon go sticky on the tab for a while. Sometimes until I restart chrome and/or the netbook entirely. At first I was annoyed, now I'm just sorta charmed that Darcie!Gnome is haunting my flist. It doesn't do this with anyone else who has custom icons, and she's my only friend with a gnome one, I think.

Date: 2011-06-16 02:10 pm (UTC)I just figured out how to trigger it, I have an add on in linux chrome that I don't on the windows side. It lets me expand cuts and comments in my friends view without loading the whole post, among other things. Gome goes sticky when I expand Darcie comments in such a way. I'll have to find another person on my flist with a custom use head to test in my friends view also.
