Smiles, fondue and nail painting.
Sep. 12th, 2010 03:54 pmI woke up in a supergood mood yesterday, because I was properly medicated and I'd had nice longsleeps, and it was FONDUE WITH THE GIRLPERSON DAY to celebrate her passing of the CNIM which I helped her study for the night before.
So, while I was makeuping I took a smiley picture, and then mother jokecomplained that t'was more amused than smiley, so I actually took a smiley picture mit teeth. I hardly ever do this because I have tiny and crooked teeth, and a bad teeth to gum ratio. But even though it's not the most flattering of pictures, it makes me smile when I look at it.

Then fondue! She picked me up around 5 and we went off to The Melting Pot. Her and the boyperson/her husbandman, had taken me to the Henderson one (now closed, sadberries) for my birthday a few years ago, and it was probably the best birthday dinner EVAR. It's such a niftyfun experience.
We were there a bit over two hours, just took our time.
The pot hotting up for the cheese course:

Her martini with strawbaby heart in, and our martinis together:

The cheeeeeese:

Then for the hot broth course, her meats and my meats respectively. I got the pacific rim which I think I got last time, I can't resist potstickers:

The hot broth pot, and the veggies and all our dipping sauces. The dipping sauces had TINY SPOONS, which she did not let me steal!

And lastly, the desert. We got dark chocolate with Bailey's mixed in, the cheesecake and the nanners were all hers, natch:

Then back to the house where the boyperson was, and we got decidedly unsober. Girlperson did not last long because she'd not had much sleep the night before and had worked that morning.
We watched a few silly things and then started a Rifftrax'd Harry Potter and the Goblet of Convenient Plot twists before the girl bailed on us.
It was a ridiculously funny rifftrax, and we were respectively unsober enough by that point that time elongated ridiculously, so the movie seemed like 6 hours long.
At some point we got the idea that I should paint his toenails, because we discovered some very red (crimson cutie!) nailpolish near the couch. I have no idea who originally came up with this idea but it involved a whole lot of giggling. I do not believe that I have painted a boy's nails since I was ... probably 14 or so. But it was far, far, far, more fun and entertaining than it really should have been.
We discussed waking the girlperson up just to show her, and decided that her annoyance at this would probably outweigh the funnyness of it later, so decided not to.
So he still has pretty, pretty princess tonails, and I have discovered that for some reason my hands are MUCH MORE STEADY when drunk/stoned.
AND THAT WAS MY SEPTEMBER 11, 2010! It was a fabulous and silly day.
