Once soviet actress Lubov Orlova got information that her husband (producer Grigory Alexandrov) plans to invite his mistress to his birthday party. That mistress was actress too, and they were ordering dress at the same tailoring shop. Orlova just visited the tailor and clarified 'by chance' which fabric that rival selected for her new evening dress.
So on a day of the bithday party ALL soft furniture at the house of Orlova and Alexandrov have got new upholstery. Orlova even had sew door mat from the remains...
