  • Working ChaCha a lot, money's been slightly tight so I'm trying to contribute more. Was all kinds of proud of myself for not panicking but then I had a really really bad day of the food restriction crazy rearing its ugly head. I guess the stress had to come out somewhere, that seems to have passed. Though I still don't have much of an appetite, but the OMG DON'T EAT AT ALL part of brain has shut up.

  • Got so excited at the pay period ending (which means I can take a few days for cleaning and projects yay!) that I stayed up till nearly 8am, doing absolutely nothing, just cause I could. But I'm paying for it today, I badly want to clean and Do Things, but I'm ridiculously exhausted.

  • Dear American Television. Please do more things like this. Please divorce yourself from the idea that a show has to run 10+ years and beat itself into the ground in order to be considered a success. MOAR MINISERIES AND ONE-OFF SINGLE SEASONS PLS*. Just two episodes into what's to be just one 13 episode series of Persons Unknown and I'm loving it. I really hope they do just stop, cause I can't see the premise extending as a multiple season show.

  • However, in the vein of potential multi-season shows, Happy Town is pretty good, too. But True Blood needs to die, because I went and watched the new season's premiere even though I had sworn it off. Stupid show entirely composed of crack.

  • In one more entry about Television, if you like shows that are episodic and contain a mystery in each which is resolved each episode and often a twist, four shows you should give a go if you haven't already are: Bones, Castle, Hustle, and Leverage. Hustle and Leverage are basically the same show except that Hustle is BBC and it's a group of con men who only con bad people. And Leverage is TNT and a group of con men who only run cons on bad people to help good people (Also similar to Leverage is Burn Notice but it's not quite as good quality of a show.) And Castle and Bones are similar in that they're crime solving dramas within the system, with some wacky comic relief in the drama.

  • Act II brand microwave kettle corn is pretty decent as far as microwave flavoured popcorns go. Unfortunately I've only one left and I'm going to now go shove it in my face while shoving some Happy Town in my brain through my eyes.

*Some examples of note are the most recent adaptation of The Day of the Triffids, Siffy's take on Alice, and the delightfully brutal little crime series (which I actually haven't finished watching yet) Luther. I could continue this list but it'd end up being a BBC fangirl wank. Please American TV, do more with the filling the gap between feature films and long running serieseseses!
