hoveringsombrero | Calmer day than expected.

Regardless of the trouble sleeping last night, I've been having a fabulous day.

Taking it slow, I already accepted that I was unlikely to get everything done that I wanted to so I am just making sure to get to the more important things first.

Clothes are washing.
Dishwasher is going.
Made many jellos.
Made many popsicles.
Talked to mother, she's in town and checked into her motel.
Talked to father and made plans to call him in the morning before going into pre-op.

I'm sure I'll get all anxious again when I lay me down to sleep. But right now I'm just calm and happy. I feel like I'm pretty prepared. I have plenty of time to get all the important stuff done. Clean bed, clean clothes, liquidyfoods and squishyfoods all ready. Lappy and Teeny back in room set up next to bed.

I intend to even make my bed before I leave in the morning so it's all ready for me when I come home tomorrow.
And friendly for mother and any visitors to sit on with me.

REMEMBER, as of Thursdayish, I WILL BE ACCEPTING VISITORS BEARING ICE CREAM.
