A feature of VLC which I love that I keep forgetting it does, is the easy screen cap. Here are a couple screencaps from recent watchings that I will proceed to inform to you why I did cappify thems.

This is from the most recent Fringe episode. Even when the show fails to be as good as I'd like it to, it rarely fails to be as pretty as fuck. This particular cap I took because the way this scene is framed and lit just took my breath away. I'm a nerd, shuddup.




And in lighter fare this is from the most recent episode of Chuck, which is a show that NEVER fails to entertain and amuse me. LOVE, love, love, nerdy lead with his big brown eyes and messy jewfro, LOVE. Anyway, this is from a fancy dress benefit, and I enjoyed them showing very large visible tattoos on a person in fancy dress.

I completely agree about that scene in Fringe. The work that goes into some of their sets and special effects is truly fantastic.

There have been times that I've totally missed the dialog and had to rewind cause I'm so engrossed in staring at how fucking gorgeous the scene was.

If I absolutely hated the show I'd probably just watch it on mute with some nice music. sopretty.
