We're off to see the Wizard!

hoveringsombreroSo I got woken by Grandfather wanting to know if I wanted to go to Kingman with him so he could buy us a bookcase. Pictures got Twitpic'd so they'll show up in their daily post here later today if you don't care to click now.
Grandfather had come over last night for a visit and I talked to him about if he had any of the right size wood for us to make a bookcase, and he didn't think he had, so apparently he decided to buy us one, which is awesome. I hope it looks as good as the box says it does. They're pretty cheap so if it does, I'd like to get a few more.
It'll be so nice to have someplace to put my books, I haven't actually had my own book shelf in my adult life, since moving away from parents.They just end up stacked against a wall or still in box, or some such. So it's been really hard to figure out what serieses I have holes in.
On the drive back I told him about that nifty door I'd found here that I thought would make a good coffee table, so when we got back here I showed it to him and he agreed with my assessment of its usefulness for being cut down into a coffee table, and we looked through the wood scraps in the shed and found some decent legs for it. So assuming Al says it's ok for me to use all said pieces, the grandfather will be helping me make it into a coffee table on Thursday or Friday.
Thursday, also, he's going to take me out to see the murals above Chloride. Which in all the times I've been here, I haven't gone to see yet.
OUTSIDE is such an awesome game. I was sad when it was down due to wetmiserablesnow yesterday.
