hoveringsombrero | In which I almost escaped!

Once Mother and her husband return with the motorhome (it was away at the motorhome doctor), they're leaving to Vegas for the day (till around midnight), Henderson, specifically. I was thinking about going with, and had talked it over with J the day before and had made tentative plans to spend the day around the Galleria Mall area with him.

But then after staying up rather late finishing the paper, and not getting much sleep, and thinking about it a bit. I realised what a very long time that is to be OUT, and that we'd probably spend far too much money on foods and entertainment.

So I talked to him this morning for a while, and he was up very late also and only got a few hours sleep hisownself.

Alas, no ~~Las Vegas~~ Henderson visit for me, I shall stay by my lonesome down here in Arizona.

I'm not terribily disapointed, it would have been nice to have spent time with J and been back to at least the edges of my city for a day, but I'm tired, especially after the franticness of the last two days of paper writing, I'm quite content to just sit about today. I've behind on quite a lot of shows so I'll probably do that a while.

I also dug up another couple interesting books, AND I FOUND MY BOX OF HOT COCOA, so I predict porch swing sitting in my future today, also.
