In which there is more poly ticks.
Oct. 20th, 2008 05:39 pmSo I'm researching the people up for local elections, since the judges are non partisan there's no real platform to go on. So mostly looking at their education and work/ruling history to decide. Also, if there's ZERO presence on the internets at all, I just vote for the one I could find information on. I figure that if you don't have any information up online for me to find, and I've NEVER seen a campaign sign for you, then you must not want my vote.
So I'm past halfway through looking up these boring judges and I get to District Court Judge Family Division Dept. J.
Lisa M. Kent VS Kenneth E. Pollack.
Now, I can't find any real info on Lisa, aside from the barebones stuff on the accessclarkcounty website, which really doesn't tell me anything about her. So then I look for Mr. Pollack.
He has a bright green site, with a fun domain Pollock4Judge.com, a very friendly picture, decent bio, was about halfway through reading it when, THE THEME SONG STARTED PLAYING!
Oh, Ken, you silly rotund man. You've won my vote.
And I can't get your song out of my head now!

Well it's election year, we all know the game,
candidates are lookin' and soundin' the same.
Lots of talk lots of noise it's all hard to sort,
but the choice is easy for Family Court
Ken Pollock, in Department G.
Ken Pollock (hah!), the people say,
Ken Pollock (oh yeah), we need to vote
for a man and a name you can trust.
Oh, Ken, you silly rotund man. You've won my vote.
And I can't get your song out of my head now!
