I'm more a fan of the Tom Baker era. Haven't been able to watch any (old or new) Dr Who for a long time though, as the girlfriend despises all things sci-fi, and what alone viewing time I have usually goes to my science channel physics/cosmology/supergeeky stuff, and my build-and-blow-shit-up-lots shows (Mythbusters, Smash Lab, Master Blasters, robot battle shows, Junkyard Wars, etc). She likes the blow-shit-up-lots stuff sometimes, but I have a much more voracious appetite for it.
