I'm a film/tv whore.

I'm also one of the more forgetful bitches in the world, and I hate commericals, HATE.
So while I love a lot of TV, I can't be bothered to remember to watch things when they're on,
or even, half the time, to even remember that a show I like is currently running.
(except for Doctor Who, of course.)

So I often find myself behind, sometimes even a season or two, on shows I liked,
cause I just plain forgot them.

So I'm doing something I've been meaning to do for a long time, I'm compliing a list,
not just a list, A SPREADSHEET of all the shows I like, with all their information.
Like number of episodes, seasons, date of last/next episode, current channel, broadcast time, etc.



I expect I'll still fall behind, a lot, life does not pause for tv.
But at least this way, I won't find myself trying to remember what shows I'm behind on or are coming up soon.

I can't remember all of them at once, natch, so this way I just add to it when I remember.

EDIT Now I've got colour coding so far for what I have.



ANOTHER EDIT OMG

I improved the colour coding and I'm done for now,
The brighest green is currently airing, next brighest is next season starting this year,
third green is season starting next year.
The red/peach are cancelled shows that are doing Direct To DVD movies.
I already found 1 show I'd forgotten about and two more I was behind on.

I too, was once a spreadsheet warrior, until I discovered tv.lilx.net
designed for the torrenter, but surely useful for the casual non pirate as well

The layout of the site us not fantastic at first, but if you can find the page that displays
the spreadsheeted list of shows and airdates (once
you have added some favorites) it is very useful.
