You know, that may be one of my top 5 if not top 10 favourite songs of all time. I see a lot of myself in that song. I remember being 15, a runaway, and wandering the desolate and empty Union Train Station in Winnipeg in the middle of the night. So much in that song... hmm...

My father was a bit of a hippie, this is one of the first songs I remember as deciding it was a favourite song. Definitely the first time I remember reading lyrics on a record(!) jacket.

Friend dom infected me with Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies the other day, and after a ridiculous amount of time watching youtube videos of them, I ended up on their myspace page. In their little musicbox they've got The Boxer as one of their covers that you can listen to. Very awesome, and now the original has been in my head off and on since.
