So the connection started slowing down and starting to get annoying again, described it all to that Lost guy, and he said it sounded like there was some computer infections going on, with his help I narrowed it down to J's computer, and also updated the firmware on the router. BIG IMPROVEMENT. J's computer is a dirty, dirty, whore and is disconnected from the network till it gets clean.

Also, updating the firmware seems to have drastically increased the range of the wireless, which is very very nice.
