So, cox sent a guy out and flipped our switch at the outside box (heh, coxbox), which was allegedly suppose to turn internets back on. No cable internets, waited all day yesterday cause they'd told us it would be sometime between 7am and 8pm. An hour long call with tech support later, and J having to ask for a supervisor because he got the dumbest tech ever who kept thinking we were wanting cable TV, and we learn that the field tech did his thing at the coxbox outside on Friday night.

It now appears that, apparently nobody else in our switchy box has internets so the line to the box itself was turned off. I'm not sure why the guy flipping the switch didn't check to make sure there was signal after he did so, perhaps I'm misunderstanding the process.

So the supervisor is trying to get them to come back out on Monday (original tech was saying maybe Wednesday or Thursday), and will be allegedly calling J back today to let him know if that's going to happen, or if we have to wait till Tuesday or Wednesday.

We wouldn't be so annoyed if they'd originally told us Thursday when he made the initial call on Friday, but he was promised yayfastinternets to be reactivated, Saturday, so we were excited.

I'd made a date with ABC.com today, bitch is going to be so pissed when I cancel.
