What a difference a day makes, hey? The freak sandstorm was gone without a trace by morning, and what's more Raul returned sometime during the night, WITH all the supplies from the second drop site and then some. There's supplies that I didn't even know where to be included, plus some things that I didn't know SatCon even made. Nobody saw Raul return. It's been a flurry of activity since we woke, in the midst of coordinating everything I've managed to talk to as many of my people as possible and the story's the same across the board. Everyone, to the man, had the best night of sleep they can remember having since leaving transpo. Even the sentries freely admitted they fell asleep at post, as that was the lesser of two evils, falling asleep is better than being awake and not noticing someone entering the shelter. That's not to say they won't be disciplined, they're still my soldiers and I have to keep order, just because we're mingled with civies and scientists doesn't mean I can let things slide.

Oh hells, the scientists, they've been going nuts since we woke and won't yet tell me what's going on, all I keep getting in response is mutterings about extrapolating some shit or not enough data. I understand their purpose with us, but it doesn't make me not want to throttle every last one of them. At least theyre helping set up the sat dishes so maybe we can resume contact with arl-6, so not a total loss.

I've just been informed that there's a bunch of prefab buildings in the drop, yet another thing I wasn't aware was being included. So at least we'll have some more decent shelter up before tonight. Beginning to get paranoid about what else I don't know about this fucking mission.
