Creeptastic.

I often make fun of J for his entire family being on myspace,
I often make fun of myspace, so its not terribly out of my way.

I woke up, been sitting here in my roomcave
trying to determine of today has any plans,
and if said plans require being clothed.

And I remember that I've been ignoring friend request emails for a while.
So I decide to go delete them all, as usual.
As they're usually spam profiles or yet another vegas club/scene thing
attempting to add me.

So I'm deleting away and one picture catches my eye,
"she looks like mother" I think, then I realise the name is Kathy.
Shit, it's my mother's sister.

So after many minutes of being creeped out,
I add Aunt Kathy.
My myspace profile lists links to livejournal/youtube/okcupid.
And it's not private, so if she wants to take issue with me,
she could do so without me friending her, so what the hell.

There was a few short moments where my brain panicked.
I thought about going through and friending everything,
or at least removing the links from myspace and hoping she didn't see them.

But that's not me, if it was I would have done so years ago.
I am not ashamed of who and what I am,
I have never hidden anything from my family,
some of them prefer the don'taskdon'tell method, namely mother.

But no, this may have fallout if people decide to go repeating to mother,
but I guess I'll have to point out that I haven't ever hidden anything from her,
she has just chosen not to pay attention.

I'm not going to not be me just because more family may be aware of my online stuff.
