what a long day

cyd's keyboard was hard to type on, so i kinda shortened things
but it was still a long entry

the school seems wonderful
we'll find out tomorrow or the next day if peanut is approved for student loans.
they do a combination of labs and online work
the labs are the one-on-one training with an instructor
you have to put in around 10 hours of labs a week
the rest is online
and it's learn at your own pace

the school is open from sometime in the morning till 9 at night m-f
then it's open until ... i can't remember .. 6 or 7 on Saturday

so the plan will be for me to leave work at 4.30
do not pass go

pick him right up
take him straight to school
and he can stay till 9 or till labs are done
we'll probably be doing Friday and Saturday for school while i'm in training.
since i have Saturday and Sunday off.

he's doing medical transcription which they have excellent job placement for
80% of which is at-home stuff
it pays per line but the average starting is 25 to 31 thousand a year

plus they say the at-home work usually pays better and you get to work
well AT HOME, hehe
which will be good that we're going to put him on my insurance
that way he can choose by what will pay the best rather than by benefits

their IT programs are extensive and impressive
like i said entry before i'm considering doing some of it.

we watched tv while they were out with my car
couldn't manage to get the rental
then jess came over, so i finally meet the jess
she seems really very spiffy
cute too.

still snags with the rental car,
i left the business card for the place i rented from with doc
if they still have problems then i'll meet up with him tomorrow
and do it with my credit card

i had no idea how much i missed her
and missed being social till i was there.
i was also way more comfortable than last time
i think that's because this town is HOME now
i'm much more secure on my home turf ;)

i didn't realize how hungry i was till first bite of sammach
cheesesteak sandwiches

they're very friendly hosts
it was nice to be social

strange dreams

dreamed was at some party hanging out, and talking and laughing with an ex.
i know where that came from, i was talking about him to peanut the other day
about exes i'm still friendly with (when they're around, heh)

and there was this huge bit where i was running around
and shooting and planes/ships from the ground
with that stick weapon the jaffa use in stargate.

duh on where that came from.

whole bunch of other dreamness
but it's faded now

oh wait,
there was one part, can't remember the context
but thegirl was all upset and i kept hugging and comforting her
sticking in my brain bothering me that i SHOULD remember why
like it's important or something

oh well

in which eris actually puts a dreaded donate link in her journal

the last time i put a paypal donate link in my journal it was for silly
charity tried to send me a cent or a dollar, can't remember
but i didn't have a bank account so i couldn't collect it.
heh

now i'm all paypal verified

marriage certificate is $55
the chapel is going to be around $200
that's adding in the required tips to minister and limo
and rounding it off

i'm making a crazy dress, that shouldn't cost me much
but i'm trying to find a black corset, preferably leather looking to go over it
that's looking pricey so i may cheat and just make it corset-esque
plus bridesmaid silliness

but i'll be working and the above shouldn't be all that expensive so i shouldn't have a problem

and then there's other little things and party expenses


but the main thing is there's a friend or two i'd like to fly out.
plus there's a hotel right near me that is fairly nice and good priced
that i'd like to put my father up in, rather than having him pay for place to stay.

but again i should be able to afford it,
BUT if you want to help that make things a little easier.

anything donated will not be used for current bills
those are killer right now but things are worked out.
we'll be fine.
i start work in a week and everything goes up from there
