updatey type thing

i'm just now coming back upstairs tho i've been home quite a long time

the family thing at the hard rock cafe went well, mostly because we were at a large round table which made conversation to anyone but the people to either side rather difficult, heh heh

there was no overt bitching everybody seemed to play nice
my mother got both kal and i nuts and me a $50 gift card to olive garden and kal $10 at macdonalds
oddly food obsessed this year and still of the notion that non vegetarians must live on fast food
i got my brother the clerks collectors edition DVD (goddamn expensive) and he got me an invader zim shirt and button
he got kal a 3-pack of games that kal had had on his wish list

and during the meal kal excused himself and disappeared, he had been sick so my brother and i just decided he was spending some time in the bathroom, but that sneaky mexican re-appeared with a hard rock cafe hat for my brother and a hard rock cafe teddy bear for me =)

our waitress was very cute and had pink hair and many tattoos she was talking to me a lot and also hitting on biff, but he got all blushy and didn't do a good job of responding to the flirting (prolly due to mother being there)

i really had thought that a flat out no would have worked with my mother, but the lesson learned again here is that when thwarted too many times she just gets more aggressive, i have been actively trying for the past 5 or so years to have a totally mother free Xmas. blah blah blah blah blah whine whine shut the hell up eris it's over for another year YEEHAA SHIT!

after i sleep and awake again i will make a big happy christmassy type posty thingy
sorry to anyone who may have felt ignored by me
i'm much more of a nutcase than usual between thanksgiving and Christmas eve, if you're ever interested ask me sometime about my family and holiday suicides, but not until it's 2002

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
ooh i slept a lot
i wish that i could get everyone everything they wanted for Christmas
many of you still have presents and stuff coming from me/us
with his 401k coming so late and the scaryness of the Xmas rush we decided to do most of our present buying in the after Xmas sales

DVD player for my father and his wify, nadin got me the coolest presents, so now i'm more worried about getting her some super nifty things
she got me pretty dark brown fancy wood chopsticks, with a beautiful holding case of the same colour and wood with turtles carved atop
and A FONDUE POT! i was completely surprised at that, i hadn't realized that i was annoying kal by chanting 'fondue fondue fondueyyyyy!' at him when she was around
also a few days ago kal got me a tiny fondue pot with a chocolate fondue mix
so i am overwhelmed with fondueness

anyhow i got to babbling, and didn't quite accomplish what i intended with this post, perhaps i'll try again later.
kal is mister hungry sick man and wants me downstairs, it's cold, so i'm thinking if store is open i go get some firewood (we've been out of it for ages) and something for cooking :)
