MERRY FREAKING CHRISTMAS EVE!!

well that damn woman has done it again
she did not quit badgering me to come for Christmas (traditionaly our family does things on Xmas eve)
so i spoke to her on the phone this morning and told her that if i were to make such a drive in this time of year at that distance it'd be only in daylight.

so that sneaky woman came up with another plan
she is stuffing her husband, my brother, and her parents into a car and coming up here to take us out to eat at a restaurant and do our Xmas things there

also the (poor, sick) kal will once again be with me and my family on Xmas eve, despite his assertations that it would happen never again
i'm going to shower and i have to find a restaurant which is open

well then

after much phonage with the mother person we have reservations at the hard rock
i listed off menu items to make sure that they could eat there
she didn't seem concerned at all

which worries me that they'll be a huge bitchfest from mother and grandmother when the actual menu is viewed

Dear Santa;
all I want for Christmas is for my mother to act like a normal mother and for her mother to do the same. And also I promise to do my best to not react if either she cannot resist comments about weight or living in sin or any of their usual jabs.
