i woke up a couple hours ago
i just had an EXCITEING first meal of cup o noodles
i still want to take a bite out of soaps from charity
in my shower last night after shampooing my roots i scrubbed my braids with lavender and green grass soap
i have nifty smelling braids
i am starting every sentence with i
i'm done now(?)

i'll answer all the questions at once in this post and then as soon as i'm in public i'll have to answer them for all the people that stop me to ask, heh, i should wear a sign or carry flyers or something

yes the back is next to impossible and please don't look closely at the parting back there cause it's crazy. usually i have a couple mirrors that i can move about to see the back, they're still in storage so it was mostly by touch this time
it took me about 25-30 hours over a 4 day span, last time it took me 3 days but less hourage
the last 10 hours were take up with the back part i couldn't see which was about 5 inches wide and maybe 7 high

only my neck hurts this time, usually my back hurts for a week after because i've done it sitting on the floor, stupid folding chair this time

the phone rang and i thought i'd carefully sat my laptop down on the end table and i hopped up to run to the phone
and CRASH went my laptop onto the floor
it landed nic card side down and bent the connector and the connector popped off
(phone stopped ringing before i could get to it)

so i shut down the laptop and inspected everything to make sure i hadn't actually broken the connector or any of the pins on the card itself and it all looked fine but the connecter was all wobbly but i squeezed the part of the nic card where it goes in so it would stay put

well guess what kids, IT NO WORKIE!
it looks like it's fine but no lights come on and NO CONNECTION

so i have no idea who called, i left kal a message on his pager but it must not have been him cause he didn't call back
who else would be calling me at this hour?

so anyway, i'm smart and i connected the long cat5 to the modem then to the desktop computer and copied all the information on my laptop onto the desktop and i'm online

kal wants to get me a USB nic because of how flimsy the normal nic card connectors are, but i've only got one USB port on my laptop and i use it a lot
