i think it's national "Somebody needs a Hug" Day. Third person who world is closing in on them I've heard from today. Sorry, my ears are sore and I'm all out of quiche. Just got through talking the last one off the ledge.... but,
(((((Eris)))))
I'm with ya hon. As for cops well, they are just like every other job. The incompetent ones stay close to the bottom rungs... and they are the ones who most interact with the public. I just hope you got a recipt for the property the confiscated. Something you can use in small claims court against THEM if it's gone. I'll cross my fingers for you.
Quiche rocks. Nah, things are fine, just re-adjusted.
No receipt for lappy, the highway patrol tried to check it with my stuff at county but they wouldn't accept it as it was "too valuable" so she said she'd take it with her to the highway patrol office on sunset and decatur and just for me to come by with my ID to get it.
They are aware that there is suppose to be property waiting for me, but they told me it "hasn't arrived yet."
I'm pretty much trying to resign myself to the very distinct possiblity that it is gone.
I have had the distinct displeasure to have involvement with the police a few times. And I agree, they suck, although I am no angel I did not deserve the treatment I got. My wife was pregnant and her estranged ex-husband tried to break into her house before we ever dated, she shut the door on his head. They threatened to take her to jail because he was the only one with a mark. A VERY pregnant girl supposedly assualted a 6'1" 270 lb guy, what a lack of logical thinking.
Anyway, hope you get the laptop back, and sorry you had a rough couple of days. Royce
