I had stumbled across blog_sociology,
friended it, and have had it on my flist for a while now.
The most recent post was the final straw,
as I actively resisted snide comments along the lines of
"and what, exactly, would be the sociological import of your personal issues?"

I went and scanned back through the entry and realised how very trite the entries have been.
The etiquette of friending and such.

Enough of that,
very sad.

I was hoping to have a community to view which had interesting sociological discussions
about online communication, not whiny attempts to use academia to back up personal slights.

Sad.
