like i said below, cleaning night, in sitting down to take a rest and procrastinating i went to ana's guest bbs and i discover several strings about the guy and his concepts of men being oppressed that had posted on her livejournal

i do not consider myself feminist by any defininition nor particulary strong even if i'm very independant .. but i can think of no other phrase then "shocked and saddened" at her post, women still think like this? i know PEOPLE can be scary but i don't tend to think: oh no! i have to be careful or a man with RAPE ME!, strike that, i don't think i've EVER thought that

wait.. if this is a war do we get to shoot men on sight?

when i leave my house i literally have 2 psyche myself up..watch where i go, carry mace and sometimes a gun, and a camera 2 document the shit that happens around me...and i have to get inside before dark, because if i stay out there after dark "it's open season". and what that means is that if i get raped when it's dark outside...i am just stupid. because i should know better than to go out after dark.

i'm all about empathy and free speech.
but really, until the self-victimization and special interest crap stops, no one is ever going to get a steady quality of life. and taking on extremist battle-cries firstly doesn't help anything, and secondly draws attention to only one side of the story.

it has nothing to do with open minds.

it has to do with you taking anti-femminism propaganda into a forum run by a paranoid agoraphobic victimized woman with a strong and loyal fan base.

none of whom are unbiased political scientists, to my knowledge. and most have no intention of learning anything else before they die, from what i have observed.

basically you tried to hold a pro-choice rally in a catholic church at high mass, metaphorically speaking.

so one must question your true motives, and be saddened that what may have been valuable information has been intentionally lost in a jerry springer-esque stunt. and you really can't get that back no matter where you go.



maybe you could start a petition in your community or something, instead of using someone's cause as your beehive stirring stick.

Okay... I didn't know what I was getting into. I didn't realize it was a bunch of nazi-feminists over there.. I was clueless. I was not trying to stir up controversy, I was just trying to get other people's opinions on a topic that is very important to me.
