someone thinks this is a "very insulting and ignorant article"
i don't think "someone" bothered to read the entire thing
i thought it was a great article
seemed to start out with one opinion
and came out with an entirely different impression of things

Date: 2005-05-30 09:14 pm (UTC)i can only assume the "someone" reference, but if it is any of the people i'm thinking of, the use of the word "feminism" doesn't in any way fit them anyway, so what are they worried about? a missed press mention?

i have no idea why i said "someone" rather than naming names
i'm still wondering that.

Date: 2005-05-31 05:33 am (UTC)the comment about girl scouts, just cause most of
the girl scout counselors i worked with were like
knitt'n way back in like 1995, an they were like
all girl scouts before they were counselors. i um
just got the job cause they like need'd one more
person. knew someone who uh work'd there the
summer before, so i applied. i also thought that
this comment: I was no better than that most
incompetent of housekeepers: a husband. was
a little backwardz for feminists. an this one was
in my opinion completely insulting to many of us
fine kick ass beautifully delicious ghetto bitches:
and if women don't continue to challenge men at
their own game, or worse, choose to re-ghettoize
themselves in the home, all our hard work could
unravel like a poorly knit sock. uhhm, if it could
like all unravel like a poorly knit sock, maybe it
iz. other than that, it was uhhm a good article.
i'm totally into post-mod domesticalialities = )~
oh ya an i find the emo comment totally comical,
just cause if you wanna get all technical an shit
it really stands for "imo" in the spanish language.
