i'm torn between my desire to let this movie download finish
and my desire to play grim fandango

probably shouldn't affect it too much if i do both at once

i've never finished the game, every time i get into it i move or a computer dies

i was stuck on the flaming beavers for a long time
there's a trick to it
which i can't remember but i gave up and looked around online

turns out i have a saved game, i'm trying to remember what part i'm in so i can decide what to do

i think that's the bit where you have to kill all the beavers before it lets you open it, i disremember

i think remember the trick
you gather a bunch of bones from (somewhere else i don't remember)
then you hide under the bit where the beavers can't get you
and toss bones so they come out onto the ledge
one bone toss per beaver
then either douse them when they're on the edge or as they jump
i can't remember

AHHHHH! Flaming beaver!
Use the fire extinguisher on the beaver.
It's not working!
Move to the little path to the left of the dam.
It leads to a big rock.
Hide under the rock.
The beaver can smell Manny, but not see him.
Throw a bone from the web towards the river.
Now spray the beaver with the fire extinguisher.
Manny takes out two more beavers then unlocks the gate.
He climbs into the bonewagon and bids farewell to this forest.

that part took me for fucking ever to get through

i've finally determined i'm somewhere near the end of the year two part of the game, just trying to figure out, by where i am and what items i have, what i've done and not done yet

and realized in my last playing i missed shit i couldn't go back to do cause was missed
so i'm starting over
