here's the story kids
i had everything planned perfectly so that after;
deposit
April's rent
money sent to ee
various dodads

that i'd have $200 left till payday

unexpected things happen when one plans too closely however.
i forgot there was nearly a whole more week left in March so i've pro-rated rent to pay
of $83.30
and i'd "totally spaced it" and remembered my check out date from this craphole wrong.
so i owe this place $90
maybe $100 if they're going to charge me the $20 for my internet use again.

so my door got banged upon at 11am
i've only had 4 or so hours of sleep
so i worried for a bit
then i remembered, oh yeah, i'm rich!

hehe or something like ...
things were figured out and i'm back to $200 till payday
AFTER paying pro-rated March rent
and settling up in white trash motel hell

it's good to be the king

the new place

i'm renting a rather small room in arather large house house rather close to work
in riverbank

but it's a brand new house
my rent includes cable in my room
and access to the .. i believe it's DSL for which there is a wireless network set up in the house
the teeny tiny itty bitty laptop i've bought/buying from ee came with a wireless nic

so i just have to get wireless cards for the other laptop and the desktop
once desktop is back out of storage and set up i've another hard drive which linux is going on
yup!
heh, the computer count is 3 laptops and one desktop
although this laptop is technically biff's and it's got a busted screen
shhhh, the count sounds better if i don't give details

brand new washer/dryer very quiet so i'm allowed to do laundry when other roommates are sleeping
i get my own cupboard for to keep my own dishes and stuff
my own shelf in the pantry
and i can put my small refrigerator in the garage if i want

Desi is giving me a twin bed, for which i've already bought new bedding (black and white quilt and black sheets, heee)

they're now pretty sure the problem with my car is the head gasket
i hope they're right, i'm pretty damn tired of not driving my car because we dun know what's wrong with it.

of the four batteries which came with little laptop
one refused to even take a charge
but the other three have charged up now
ee said it/they were no longer holding a charge
the other three now say full charge so i'll see if they'll hold up long enough to get some pictures while out today

yeah the one with the plastic around it, is the one i think is shot for good. the one in the computer seems so so, and i can't remember what the others are like as far as time. win98 takes more battery than 95 did.

yeah when i put the bad one on a charger it went red flashy light and then i *GASP* read the manual and it said that means bad
so i put it seperatly

i've put one charged in, and taking other two charged with today see how they hold up.

oh yeah, does the cdrom have a power cord and i'm just not seeing it?

no power cord for the cdrom, if it's plugged into the computer you don't need a power cord for it. i think the power is for i have no idea. heh. anyways i never got a power cord with it and it worked just fine so who knows.
