hoveringsombrero | so yeah, in other news

i turned in my PROMOTE ME DAMNIT avec resume yesterday.

i got to work, saw pam in the bathroom and she said "ERIS!! do you have it?" i say "yes i've got it, obviously not in my hands now" she snickered and said "well bring it too me asap" i say "yes ma'am!"

so i finish the bathroom thing, gather my stuff, and walk over to her cubicle. she is already there since it took me a few mins to get my shit out of the file cabinet and clock in and stuff.
i remember i need to sign it so i do so and hand it to her, she looks it over, is pleased, and says she'll go turn it in.

there's an available cube next to hers so i sit down and prepare to being working.
she takes two steps away, hops back to me, and says 'ooh! ooh! wait a min before you start working, i'll be right back"

a few moments later she returns with the senior operations manager
(the top of two names i was told to address the letter to)
i am introduced, there is hand shaking and smiling and friendlyness
pam tells me that this is the person which will be interviewing me for the position.
(submitting the letter does not guarantee you an interview,
but they all keep acting like it's already decided i'll be interviewed)
this is nifty because she (senior OM) seems very nice.
and pam brings up the question about my hair and i FINALLY get a straight answer.
i will have to tone it down a little but nothing wrong with extensions or braids.
she also said 'however, i'll take a look at the exact staff dress code guidelines and we can discuss it further in the interview"
again with the assumption i already have been granted an interview

so, all looks good so far.
