i'll sleep when i'm dead.
going out for hairstuff with
geekgrrrl as soon as she gets here to pick my ass up
i should eat something i think.
*sigh*
so good things:
#1 the class i planned to take next sememster is offered by the TEACHER I LIKE =D
so that's a big yay, he seems to be the only interesting teacher in our subject field
now if he only taught business law.
i've got so many boring crap courses to take if i'm degree bound
#2 another policy change at work, all of the management/supervisor type people who have their own officecubes, now each have one of our workstations, or 'consoles' in addition to their computer. so they are now required to spend a certain amount of time doing our job as well.
i dunno if it's a quota thing (per day per week?) or just when it gets a certain amount busy.
also the walkabout supervisors who don't have their own office cube are required to do the same thing, just sit down in an avalible cubie and do our job.
this is a good idea. because the company is all about, 'every one here even the head bossperson started out entry level'
so now when you need supervisor or manager help, it's not like 'oh they use to do this job 5 years ago so maybe they'll know'
and also looks like they're keeping up better in training them on policy changes.
as well as the rest of us employees, their scheduling us for workshops over the next couple months to make sure we're all up to date on current policy and procedures.
this pleases me, even tho the company is still so large so this will always be a problem, i'm hoping this will cut down a little on the whole every supervisor/manager has a different answer thing.
i still should eat something.
