Somehow my brain turned the first sentence into you having put clothes in the dishwasher.

For some reason, unloading the dishwasher is more of a pain in the ass than loading it. And especially if it needs to be unloaded then loaded.

I constantly lost my work badge for my tech support job. I could never find a place to put it that it would stay. I think it got up from the table and walked around in the night, lodging itself between couch cushions and hiding under car seats.

it's suppose to stay in my car
cause i know if i don't then i'll forget it.

and that sucks, cause that card is needed for everything
building access
time clock
claiming paycheque

Yeah. At one of my jobs, we had to swipe the badge for the time clock. At Sykes, it was to get in and out and to claim paychecks. We logged into the phone for the time clock part of it there, which was simple. You could at least get the receptionist or someone else to let you in and not have to worry about it till payday. I completely lost my badge once at both jobs, though, and had to get a new one. They're always really pissed about things like that.

yeah they just get annoyed the first time you do it
the second time you get written up for it (i think).
and to get into the building, the security guard has to call your unit manger or one of the supervisors in your dept to make sure you work there.

then to clock in and out you have to go up to scheduling and they do it manually on the computer.
and if you have to stand in line too long and get 'out of compliance' on when you're supposed to be clocked in or out or whichever, you can still get written up for it.
