babble before work

somebody will probably find this racist
somebody: fuck you
it makes me happy to see people being non-stereotypical
i don't often think of people as being a certain colour
when asked to describe someone, i'll describe their height or what they were wearing or something
for example:
stacy (co worker): have you met art yet?
me: the older guy in the blue?
stacy: yeah the black guy that just passed
me: yup i met art, he's nifty
stacy: yeah i like him a lot
the other day i went to check cashing
and i was helped by a REALLY TALL, good looking, polite, well-spoken, intelligent
black man
in STOCKTON, where quite a majority the people you see, EVERY colour, brown white, blue, green, puse, even, and often especially white (white trash or hick), are sterotypes
it was nice to see someone being very much not a stereotype
i was very happy.
kal was amused at me and i don't think he understood.
i don't agree with racial slurs
but if a person is being horribly horribly their stereotype then i'll think of them in those terms
if a guy walks into a store, pants crotch around his knees, 2 pairs of underwear showing, bandanna tied in that stupid -lookslikeitshouldbeonababyshead- bow, wife beater shirt, cold chains, gold teeth, cannot speak any semblance of the english language to save his life. being loud as fuck and acting like he's packing.
i'm going to notice his colour. i'm going to assume gang.
this is judging someone on their appearance, which is still likely a wrong thing to do.
i didn't come to a point here, just stuff in my head.
my GO TO WORK alarm is going off
so i'm out, bye bye
