as you can see by the last entry no packing was done today
3 DAYS LEFT
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday

moving Friday

so i'm going to read and sleep, it's just one room but i've got a lot to do in 3 days:



this is my plan
move biggish stuff out of room, tv, vcr, boxes (i'm likely going to have to drag tv and cuss a lot) put non smushey stuff fin boxes
clothes in bags
try to keep like things together as much as possible
Thursday disassemble desktop computer and put it with tv and vcr and dvd player in living room
tell spanky to get his all shit together and try not to yell at him
avoid nick as much as possible

kal won't be able to get Friday off because he took today off, but he'll still probably be able to leave around noon or so from work. so i've got to have everything ready to put into car and truck as soon as he gets home

i dunno if we're getting anything out of storage in stockton on Friday so i dunno if we're sleeping on floor or what Friday night :) guess i'll have to wait and see

Oh yeeeee, I know just what you're going through. I went through one period where I hd to move three times in a short period of time, it was really rough. I think moving is up there on that list of big life stressors like loss of spouse, child, job, etc. Good luck with it, I so remember making lists and counting down.

I'm so looking forward to Burning man, woohoo.

yeah this'll be the third in a bit over a year
and likely not the last.

for the first 20 or so years of my life, the last 16 of it was spent in one house, i'd never - as an adult - actually moved before a year ago

and as i still don't really consider myself an adult it's disconcerting to say the least
