it's interesting to think about, too broad of a statement and not really a statement, one could also say "Buying bread after 3am is often something embraced by the passive aggressives." you can't really prove or disprove it, "Eating bread causes people to become serial killers." it's true, there's a whole site about it (right here the intro to that site is written by our very own dom) don't believe it? i'll bet you my spanky that the Son Of Sam killer ate bread, it even causes terrorists, and assassinations

while i do agree that online journals are often used in "passive aggressive" ways, i don't see that they are any more (or less) than any other type of communication medium
