Kinda nervous about this.

As you may or may not know, I used to sing once. A lot. I was professionally classically trained from 11 years old, I then went to college and majored in Music Education, realised that I would rather perform than teach, and then discovered what a ridiculously cut-throat world classical singing is. I just don't have the balls for that sort of thing. I lost my nerve, lost my confidence, and it trickled down to just family and church performances after about 20 years of age, and my last public performance was in 1999, at my father's wedding, and it was this song.

I recorded this just now. And this would be the first time that I have publicly shared my singing on the internets. No, I have no more intention or desire for public performing, but I still very much enjoy signing, and thought that this might be helpful for my (speaking) voice work to dust off the singing, and maybe get over my issues about people hearing it.
