I went away for a little bit of the holiday weekend. To the boyperson and girlperson's house of course. Have not done that in a while, had amazing mushu and silly movies, and then the girlperson made burgers and jalapeno mac n cheese before I left the next day.

We watched New Moon. Yes, the second Twilight movie. But do not fret, gentle reader, we watched with Rifftrax. Which after watching the first one straight, and then with the 'trax, I vowed never to watch a Twilight movie without Rifftrax again. It was actually worse than the first movie, I was in awe at the awfulness. But it was more fun than it should have been. I am looking forward to the 'traxed version of Eclipse.

While the boyperson was driving me home on Sunday, it was just the right time to see fireworks from all over the valley. They live in the "new southwest" so the drive back to my home involves a really good view of the whole valley, so I got to see them from all over during the drive.

And now for something completely awesome. An mp3 player, a laptop, and a cell phone if they were made in 1977 by time travelers. I want the mp3 player. WANT.
