A raffle.

So, as you may or may not know, my surgery is upcoming. To get these damn tonsils out FINALLY.

I have been having a weird feeling for a few days that something was wrong, but couldn't tell what. I became convinced that I'd written down the surgery date wrong. So, today I had enough of a voice (had a really awfulbad cold this week) to call the surgeon's office and confirm.

And it turns out the scheduler had neglected to inform me that there is a $150 copay for the surgeon, which must be paid on or before the 12th of March, as that's the last day their office is open before my surgery the morning of the 16th.

After much panic and no parental help forthcoming, the ever lovely curmudgeonlet has donated a lovely blanket she's making to be raffled off to raise this money.
