So today we learned, that it is really easy to keep an apartment around 68-73°(f) when it's over 100°(f) outside. That is, to KEEP it at, assuming that it was that temperature throughout the night also.

It is not so easy to cool the same apartment down from 89°(f) when it's already over 100°(f) outside.

I've only just now gotten it down to 72°(f) in here.

Also, I feel ill.

You call that whining? heh

At least you have a/c. It is extraordinarily difficult to cool a house down from 95F to anything under, oh, say, 95F, when you have nothing but a couple of weak-ass fans. (And, as of today, bless our hearts, a couple not-so-weak fans.)

To make the game more interesting, we -do- have 2 window a/c units. Which don't work.

... I do believe that I've been called out for lack of whine.

I very much appreciate having a/c and living in a place where I do not pay power. I would not be anything resembling coherent in your house.
