So, we've been having some connection problems that I think are just the router, if I connect one of the computers directly to the modem, no problems, superfast. Also it seems like only 2 of 3 computers can access the shared folders on the other computers at a time, can't seem to get all three to see each other at once right now.

So I mean to change some settings around to see if I can fix that, but first I've got to have all the computers working right, and all three instances of windows keep intermittently going  OMG LIMITED OR NO CONNECTIVITY. Yet if I hop over into linux on my desktop (through the router, not changing anything), it sees no issue with the connection at all, not even a hiccup.

Cannot get any of the computers to connect right now, through the router, with windows running. Only me, over here with ubuntu, WTF?

I don't understand why windows thinks there's no internets, and linux is all YAY INTERNETS WOO!. I haven't even changed any router settings yet, I was just thinking about it, and reading up on my particular router. Can windows possibly be so neurotic that it's freaking out at the possibility of me changing settings?

If I still can't get them all going tomorrow in order to play with different settings, I'm just going to go back to factory settings on the damn router and start the fuck over.

I'm tempted to take this as a sign that the computer gods wish to banish windows from all our computers.
