R.I.P. STARDUST
Mar. 13th, 2007 12:23 pmHere's the best video I found on youtube of the demolition of the stardust,
at about 2:30am this morning.
I had totally forgot to pay attention to when this was happening,
I'm surprised that I didn't hear the fireworks and such.
Am rather upset that I missed it. =(
Hooray for youtube?

Actually, I believe that it's cheaper to demolish and rebuild then to upkeep past a certain point.
Vegas ...
Date: 2007-03-13 08:23 pm (UTC)I guess there are still places where I've lost money ... the one with the volcano ... the one with the pirate ship ...
Do they still have that wonderful Buddhist shrine outside at Caesar's Palace? That was such a nice place to go and chill and pretend that one was in Sri Lanka for a few minutes.
Hmmm ... I think the only place that's still standing that I've stayed at is the Union Plaza ... they did tear down and replace the old Vegas World hotel, right, or is that just a "wing" on the new place?
