This entry should have pictures but it's not going to, because if I start trying to organise them, I'll get distracted and not write this. I'll probably eventually get around to a post with just pictures related to all this, eventually.

2010 started exactly like 2009 ended, with too many doctor visits and too many hours at hospital. But it just went uphill from there. I gained a crafts desk, which has gotten more use as a TV stand, but has greatly improved my room, especially for lifeboating. I lost my tonsils in March, finally, and had a much longer and rougher recovery than I thought. It's only been a few months since I've felt fully recovered from that. I still have more issues and problems than I'd care to, but it's been over 6 months without antibiotics, and so far I'm one of the lucky majority who no longer gets strep after tonsils are removed. Which is fucking amazing.

In early December I took a weeklong trip to visit the sisterperson and meet the elusive Mudge. All the way to South Carolina, which is now the furthest away I've ever been. And I got to see and touch the Atlantic ocean, so now I've been coast to coast in my own country. The trip was lots of fun, and hopefully sisterperson and her brood will be moving much closer to me than across the fucking country, soon. Mudge was fabulous and adorable, and unfortunately did not let me pack her in my bags and bring her home and lock her up in my sex basement. Which was a little rude, but I'll forgive her.

On the way back I got bumped from my flight because they were behind schedule and I wouldn't have made my connecting flight. So I got a free hotel stay, free dinner, and FREE FIRST CLASS the next day. I'd never been in first class before, that was beyond nifty.

Then just days after being home there was a crazy brother visit, and thanks to my health being a bit better later, and the amazing shoes sisterperson got me, I was able to out and about on my feet with brother, several days in a row.

So my year was a lot like the United States, a lot of stuff going on at the edges, not much in the middle.

They say how you spend New Year's Eve sets the tone for the rest of the year, I spent the weekend at the boyperson & girlperson's house. Drank far too much tequilia on the Eve of NYE, but it was fun. The whole weekend was very silly and calm and mellow, and involved a lot of naps. AND I got kissed at midnight from each of them. So if this weekend was an indication of how 2K Eleventy will go, then I'm quite looking forward to it.

Also other things happened, probably. But I'm done writing now. Yup.
