Sleepy drug review
Jun. 17th, 2009 07:00 amSo, tried a 5mg Ambien for the first time last night, in attempt to reset me out of backwardstime.
After all the strange things I'd heard/read about it I took the precautions of locking the screen on both desktop and lappy, and putting fon in a hard to reach place. Was pretty sure that 5mg wasn't going to do much, but better safe than sleepposting/texting/calling.
It did not manage to keep me asleep much more than 5 hours, but that wasn't terribly surprising since I'd slept during the day, prior. It gave me very strange, unexplainable fever-like dreams and at one point I woke with the, rather terrified, paranoid belief that someone was in the house about to kill me.
However, I do feel rested and not much of a residual drugged feeling, so I'm hoping the distressing dreams and paranoia were partly situational and not entirely the fault of the drug.
We shall see.
