I had a very lovely mother visit today.
She brought me some earrings she bought me, a snowflake pair and a fairy pair. We went to Joann's and make terrible silly girly noises over beads and things, she bought some beads and stuff, I got a set of tools. We finally dragged ourselves away and went to lunch at Red Robin. We both had the same burger (mushroom swiss) but she had the plain veggie patty and I had the boca veggie patty, it did not agree with either of us, so we won't be doing that again soon.
While at Red Robin, though. I quickly put together some earrings for her from the stuff she got for herself. She was very impressed. She keeps showing me things and I keep telling her not to spend that much money when I can make the same thing for much cheaper. She was seriously showing me a pair yesterday that would take me maybe 15 minutes and no more than 10 inches of wire to make, that the site is selling for $45. However now she's on my team after watching me make a few and started talking about other things she should get or bring for me to make for her.
So I now have a needle nose pliers, a roundy nose, and a flat edge cutter. I think I'll be wanting another needle nose. And a roundy thing to make larger rounds then the little roundy nose guy. and a peg board. I'm quite excited as you can see. I love making things. I sorta want a whole second desk now for makings. Guess computer will just have to share.
Pay period ends soon so I'm probably taking Wednesday and Thursday off, maybe even Friday. I've been working 10-13 hours in a row the past several days trying to make up for the nearly week I missed. I'm not quite catching up, but I'm going to best last month's pay by at least a $100.
Hopefully my supplier will have the 17 guage of niobium wire up in a day or two like he promised so I can get a little. He's only got around a 12-14g up right now. He'll have some 20g up near end up month and I'll need a tonne of that also.
I'll probably post some pictures of what I have done so far in a few days. Neither fon nor actual camera take decent pictures of small things. So when I start selling I'm going to have to scan or borrow more megapixels from someone. I hope to snag more of my own megapixels at a reasonable price from Super Pawn in a month or so. Christmas present for myself, maybe.
