Though come November it may be BOO California.

Hopefully it'll stick this time, though I'm not holding my breath. If I believed in legal marriage, I might be thinking about proposing a trip to California right about now. Everybody should the right to legally obligate oneself to another.

And it addresses a point I keep ranting on to J, regarding the Bountiful flds group, but also applicable to the recent issues in Texas. And I quote (bolding mine):

"If the RCMP were to arrest Blackmore and his followers under the polygamy laws, their polygamy would be treated as proxy for what many believe is child and spousal abuse. In addition to being a cruel and unfair portrait of poly people, it's lazy police work. Laws against child and spousal abuse are on the books. If the folks in Bountiful are abusers, arrest them for that. Leave poly out of it."

Yeah.

I alternate between being annoyed at other people for not getting me and thinking I'm weird, when from my point of view I'm normal and boring, and moments of lucid clarity when I am aware that something I'm doing is weird.

I just ran, from the bedroom, to the kitchen, to put away a plate, naked, going "woooo!"

Got to the kitchen, stopped, and thought "What the hell?"

I don't know, I just work here.
