Talkin cars, my Saturn obession.
May. 8th, 2007 05:16 amMy most favouritest car EVAR,
was my 1993 Saturn SC-1,
2 door, stock aquamarine, moon roof,
5 speed manual, 4 Cylinder engine.
fuckin hot little car, loved it to death.
I've been pretty rabidly anti-post 1995 cars,
but was talking cars with J, and looking at saturns ...
noticed that they appear to have discontinued the SC line after 2002.
The body style went a bit wonky from 97 - 99, don't like,
but the 2001 and 2002 SC-1 look almost EXACTLY like the 1993,
except it's got that snazzy 3rd door.
The body is almost identical, the seats and cockpit are also.
I always said that I wanted another 1993,
but after a lot of looking at the 2002 3 door SC-1,
I think I may be swayed, when the time comes.
They didn't fuck with a good thing,
what also swayed me is looking at their new line,
The Sky is really hot looking,
HOWEVER the Ion Quad Coupe,
is just a redux of the SC line,
with a little 2000 neon thrown in body-wise.
And at an MSRP of 18ish, is reasonable,
but I'd be happier with the 2002, and it's just as good at at least half the price.
With cars I really want, I like to plan way in advance,
I had decided that I'd wanted a saturn sportcoupe almost a year before I got it,
and then the first place I called, the dealer I'd bought my toyota from,
had JUST gotten one in.
eris + sportcoupe = LUV
